3. Customer Data Collection

For customers utilizing our booking platform, we collect:

  • Full Name, Gender, and Profile Picture (optional).
  • Email address and Mobile Phone Number.
  • Billing address, geo-location data (with your permission), and location preferences.
  • Booking choices, notes, review feedback, and service history.
  • Payment metadata (received from our third-party payment gateways; we do not store full credit card/UPI details on our own servers).

4. Beautician / Professional Data Collection

For beauty professionals offering services through our platform, we collect additional details:

  • Full Name, Professional Bio, and Portfolio Images.
  • Business or Operating Location, area of service, and availability hours.
  • Services list, pricing tiers, and professional credentials.
  • Government-issued identity cards, certificates, and background verification documents.
  • Bank account information, UPI IDs, or payout details to facilitate direct earning transfers.

5. Purpose of Processing

We process your personal data for specific, lawful purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To match customers with beauty professionals and manage bookings.
  • Payments: To process service fees, platform charges, payouts, refunds, and collections.
  • Safety & Verification: To vet beauty professionals, prevent fraud, and maintain community trust.
  • Analytics & Improvement: To monitor platform performance, fix software issues, and enhance features.
  • Marketing & Support: To handle customer service queries, send updates, and deliver promotional alerts.

6. Legal Basis of Processing

We only process personal data when we have a valid legal basis:

  • Consent: Your explicit, free, specific, and informed agreement.
  • Contractual Performance: Processing required to provide the core booking and marketplace services.
  • Legitimate Interests: Improving platform security, analyzing platform metrics, and enforcing policies.
  • Legal Obligations: Compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and requests from legal authorities.

7. Consent Management

Consent is obtained transparently at the time of data collection (e.g., when you register or make a booking). Under India's DPDP Act, consent must be free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous. We provide clear notices and allow users to actively opt-in. 8. Withdrawal of Consent Process

Upon receiving your withdrawal request, we will stop processing your personal data, unless further retention is required by law. All customer payments and beautician payouts are handled via certified payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, or standard UPI providers). These processors handle your card details, UPI identifiers, and banking details directly under PCI-DSS standards. We do not store or process sensitive payment credentials on our servers.

14. Cloud Hosting Disclosure

Our platform operates on secure cloud infrastructure provided by partners such as Supabase, Vercel, or AWS. The databases and applications are stored in secure datacenters, with primary storage configured locally in India to comply with local data processing regulations where applicable.

15. Data Sharing Policy

We share relevant details between marketplace participants to execute bookings (e.g., sharing a customer's address and phone number with the assigned beautician, and sharing the beautician's name/phone with the customer). We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances. We may disclose data to government bodies, law enforcement, or regulators when compelled by legal warrants.

16. International Data Transfers

If personal data is transferred outside of India or the European Economic Area (EEA), we implement safety measures including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), adequacy decisions, or statutory frameworks to guarantee that your data remains protected at the level required by the GDPR and DPDP Act.

17. Data Security Measures

We secure your data using advanced security safeguards, including Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption, secure databases, role-based access restrictions, and periodic penetration tests. While we strive to maximize protection, no method is completely immune to risks, and we maintain an incident response protocol to address anomalies.

18. Children's Privacy

Our marketplace is not designed for, nor directed at, individuals under the age of 18. Under India's DPDP Act, we do not intentionally collect or process personal data of children (under 18) without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If we learn we have inadvertently collected a child's data, we will erase it immediately.

19. User Rights Under India's DPDP Act 2023

If you are a resident of India, you are recognized as a "Data Principal" under the DPDP Act 2023 and possess the following statutory rights:
